| ➤ WhatIsAGoodMother ResearchProject (WIAGM) (2024-present) — Purpose: Investigate the definition of “What Is A Good Mother” from adult children’s perceptive through collecting and analyzing respondents’ opinion and ratings on perceived mother’s behavior and specific adult child outcomes; examine cultural, gender, age, and socioeconomic differences in its definition and effect on outcomes; review parenting literature to examine existing models and theories and to identify research gap. Method: Administer an online questionnaire that collects both qualitative data (short essay) and quantitative data (self-report ratings). Data: Obtain world-wide data online. Application: Inform general public of what “good mothers” would do toward providing important self-help information and support for mothers who want to learn if they are doing a good job and how to bring the healthiest outcomes in their child.
