S1Ep4 (Chu & Ho, 2025, September 18) is our commentary of our presentation video entitled “The Short/Long-Term Effect of Parental Style” (Ho & Chu, 2025, August 14). We address questions regarding Garcia and Serra’s (2019) use of the term “socially acceptable child behavior,” what “developmental instrumental competences” are, which is the “best parenting style,” and Dr. K. Ho’s artistic choices in illustrating the concepts and definition of Parental Warmth and Parental Strictness.
