• In this S1Ep6, we present:
• (1) Rohner’s (2021) definition of Affective Copers and Instrumental Copers of Parental Rejection, Affective Copers’ social-cognitive characteristics, and factors that buffer the negative impact of parental rejection in affective copers;
• (2) sociocultural systems model of Parental Acceptance and Rejection and their manifestations in religious and art forms;
• (3) gender difference in Affective Coping;
• (4) affiliative and self-enhancing Styles of Humor in childhood-parentally-accepted individuals vs. aggressive and self-defeating style of humor in childhood-parentally-rejected individuals.
